The Timetraveler app allows time travel at a small scale along the former Berlin Wall. By combining tracking software and a smartphone’s camera, it is possible to access localized documentary footage, which then is  seamlessly integrated into the live image of the smartphone.

If you are standing at the Brandenburg Gate, for instance, you will see how the enthusiastic people pull each other onto the wall on November 9th 1989.

From the present scene you are looking through a window into the past and will become an eyewitness of successful escapes, the demolition of the Church of Reconciliation and the fall of the Wall.

September 17th, 2014 - APP LAUNCH
The Timetraveler app launches with support from the Berliner Morgenpost, Zitty Magazine Berlin and n-tv. Now available in German version for Android and iOS devices.

If you would like to get to know more about Timetravler please refer TechCrunch, t3n Magazine, Funke Mediengruppe and new-business.de.
